How can I use paceval. to protect and monitor my system?
Thanks to its capabilities, paceval. offers many possible uses for system monitoring and protection against theft or manipulation, so-called “hacking”.
The mathematical functions characterizing a product’s model are stored in a protected file. At the start of the application (e.g. a financial service provider or a product, e.g. a car) a protected library with signed software is also initiated on a separate microcontroller. At the same time, all functions are transferred to paceval.
These functions determine, for example, how to deal with the input variables :
- How to check sensor readings affecting the product
- How mathematical values of the product algorithms (e.g. cornering, pattern recognition, predictive analysis) have to be repeatedly defined
- How probability data must be calculated
- How to evaluate signals to protect the product from abnormal behavior or damage
These values are returned to the application or product. You can use the file to detect anomalies, especially hacker attacks, as a so-called separate watchdog application. It can also be used in a black box file to analyze errors during service.
